High-quality videos have never been more readily accessible, so the bar for what stands out as “professional” has risen incredibly- especially when most customers are used to content from international businesses that have immense production capabilities and marketing budgets. While equipment does play a role in this, the most important factor is a camera’s surroundings. That’s what Cinematography is:

Here is a comparison I created to visualize this difference. While on set for a local Black Friday shoot, I filmed the spot twice. Once with the environment treated and once without. They’re stitched together alongside the final graphics to give an end-product look, but the stark difference in quality shows how effective taking the right approach to your marketing can be, without dramatically ballooning your budget.
